Ohhhh, that looks good. Watching those clips reminds me of watching Buster Keaton sequences. It always amazes me how good the CGI was in those days. It's almost as if they were actually performing clearly suicidal stunts!

Wow, that looks like it must have been high budget (relatively speaking) with all those locations and contraptions.

And who can forget Paul Michael Glaser in "the Great Houdini"? Actually, I would have, but for the wonders of the internets. Turns out that it had quite a cast, and was co-written by Peter Benchley:
